At Fireflies and Figs Co., every creation is rooted in cherished memories and a deep-seated faith.
Our name traces back to the foundational women who shaped my life: my mother and my grandmother. It comes from warm summer evenings spent chasing fireflies alongside my mother, and sweet days surrounded by my grandmother's fig trees, sampling her homemade fig preserves. Faith runs deep in our family, and these two remarkable women shaped my love for Jesus and all things faith-based.
That legacy of faith continues into the next generation. My daughter, Haley, her husband, Jacob, and my four wonderful grandchildren—Penelope, Judah, Evangeline, and Reuel—are currently serving as missionaries in Yokohama, Japan. They are dedicated to spreading the love of Jesus and sharing the gospel with the Japanese people.
